Founded in 1976 by Mr. Vinod Bomb, Kontact began as a family-run enterprise focused on delivering electrical and mechanical solutions. In 1983, we transitioned from trading to manufacturing with the development and supply of railway products to the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), marking the beginning of our long-standing association with Indian Railways.

Over the years, we have grown into a trusted engineering and manufacturing partner serving the railway, transportation, infrastructure, defence, energy, and industrial sectors. Our capabilities span rolling stock electrical systems, electrical contracting, LT & HT panel manufacturing, power distribution, automation, and integrated engineering solutions.

Today, we support all six major railway production units in India while delivering solutions for metro rail, defence, airport, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the country. Backed by nearly five decades of experience, in-house manufacturing, and execution capabilities, we provide end-to-end solutions for some of India’s most critical applications.
